Volunteer Your Time

End Poverty Cooperative

Village

HopeMongers is a cooperative built by all-volunteers who share a passion for redeeming the world’s poorest communities. We have found that people want to give more than just their money and we want to help you put your talents to good use.

The goal of the Cooperative is to build teams of people with diverse talents who will work together with impoverished communities to understand the issues, find the best non-governmental organizations, and work hard to make a lasting difference in the lives of the world’s poor.

We have built the Cooperative as an online community, much like Facebook, but centered around eight regions of the world. Each region has it’s own Cooperative Group where you can find friends who share your passion, influence the microgiving projects listed on HopeMongers, orchestrate fund-raising efforts, plan trips, and share information.

When you join a Cooperative Group, we ask that you engage in open and respectful conversation that is first and foremost productive. We also ask that you come ready to contribute your time, talent and/or gifts.

We encourage leaders to create Groups for people with common interests like software development, photography, or graphics design. A great example of this is the Red Letters Campaign who has cultivated a vibrant community of Christian adoptive families who are ‘Living Faith to End Poverty.’
